Heads Up! Trees Are Being Trimmed, Sidewalk Grinding and Replacement is Taking Place

It would seem appropriate and normal that the Association would inform homeowners and residents in advance of impending construction, tree trimming and removal, sidewalk/driveway removal and grinding, etc. However, that is not the current approach by our current Board of Directors. No notice, just plow ahead with no warning. Last week, sidewalk grinding, and replacement took place. The work of the vendor appeared to be haphazard with no specific plan. Many sidewalks throughout the community continue to be lifted. Tree roots have not been removed. Trees that should be removed are still standing. Tree branches that are touching homes are not being trimmed. Again, this goes back to the position of the board of directors not to communicate that work is being completed within the community. Homeowners expect advance notice. It would behoove the Board to take a more homeowner friendly approach to notifications such as email notifications, message posting on the homeowner portal, or postings at the mailboxes throughout the community.
